Alaqua Animal Refuge is the Southeast's premier no-kill animal sanctuary, founded in 2007 by Laurie Hood in Freeport, Florida, to give neglected, lost, and abandoned animals a second chance. What started as a response to a gap in the community has grown into one of the most recognized animal welfare organizations in the region, finding homes for up to 100 animals every month, with plans to grow the refuge and expand what's possible for animals in need. Frances Roy Agency serves as their full creative partner, building a brand presence as compassionate and purposeful as the mission behind it.

Animoré is Alaqua's signature publication, and it has to do more than inform. It has to move people. We design and lay out every issue to reflect the depth of the refuge's work, giving donors, adopters, and advocates proof of what Alaqua stands for on every page.

Social media is where Alaqua's community lives. We keep it active, emotional, and on-brand, building the kind of presence that turns followers into fosters, adopters, and lifelong supporters.
