Frances Roy Agency is seeking a full-time Junior Graphic Designer to join our team in Niceville/Valparaiso, Florida. This position plays a vital supporting role within our Design Department, collaborating closely with the Sr. Director of Design and broader team to create thoughtful, high-quality visual assets for a diverse client portfolio.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly coachable, creatively driven, and eager to grow within a fast-paced agency environment. 

This is a local, in-office position.

Position Overview

The Junior Graphic Designer supports the execution of brand-aligned creative across digital, print, and social platforms. This role requires strong foundational design skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to take direction while contributing creative insight.

This individual must demonstrate professionalism, organization, and a commitment to delivering polished, on-brand work.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Sr. Director of Design in developing digital graphics, social content, infographics, publications, presentations, and campaign assets

• Execute design concepts within established brand standards and structured creative direction

• Produce high-quality deliverables with strong attention to detail, typography, composition, and consistency

• Incorporate feedback efficiently and professionally through structured revision rounds

• Present design concepts clearly through written and verbal communication

• Collaborate cross-functionally with the Communications team to align creative with campaign strategy

• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines

• Track project progress and provide status updates as requested

• Support asset organization and file management within agency systems

• Perform additional duties as assigned to support agency growth

Qualifications & Requirements

• Demonstrated interest in graphic design and visual storytelling

• Strong understanding of composition, typography, color theory, and brand consistency

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment

• Working knowledge of current design trends and production standards

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

• Portfolio demonstrating technical skill and creative range

Technical Skills

Required:

• Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)

• Canva 

Preferred / Bonus Experience:

• Photography or basic photo editing

• Videography or short-form video editing

• After Effects

• Figma

Additional:

• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar)
