As we say goodbye to 2021, we prepare to take on the new year and new design trends! Each year, the team creates strategies and tactics for every client to help navigate the year ahead. The result? We uncovered these top three design trends your brand needs to utilize in their website and graphic design.

Motion

Expect the use of motion in design in the new year. We predict an increase in animations, videos, 3D graphics, and more as marketers strive to catch the eye of their target audience. Due to short attention spans, movement will stand out among static images online and even in print pieces.

Text-heavy videos

Video will remain a top content priority throughout 2022, but consumers can expect those videos to now include more text. Why? A few reasons. Firstly, in addition to video recordings, designers create their video content through animations and graphic designs where adding text is easy.

Dark mode

Do you use dark mode on your phone? Stacked Marketer asked its readers which mode they primarily use, and the results were 50/50, so if you aren’t considering dark mode features when designing, it’s time to start! Test colors on graphics and websites to ensure visual placement and legibility.
