This week, we’re catching up with our PR Strategist Erin Rosetti. She is a native of Biloxi, Mississippi, and offers her services to the Frances Roy team on a freelance basis. Erin graduated from Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigers!) in 2014, majoring in Mass Communication and concentrating in PR. From there, she spent some time in Chicago working for the global firm Edelman PR, learning from the best and brightest in the industry. Since then, she’s worked in destination marketing, endurance event planning and education. She’s also a Certified Personal Trainer and loves the fitness industry.

On how she landed on the FRA Team, Erin said, “I learned about the freelance opportunity from Kesley Doar, who had been assisting Shantelle with some contract work. At the time, I was interested in flexing my creative muscles in new ways, and this seemed like a perfect fit.”

When she is feeling tapped out of new ideas or interesting ways to tell a client’s story, Erin looks to her favorite mediums. “I love reading and listening to podcasts. I have six TBR (to be read) books on my nightstand right now, and each will bring me a new perspective or vantage point. I listen to podcasts on a daily basis, and the storytelling I experience through these works always inspire me to craft more thoughtful narratives for my clients.”

Erin has been able to work with a variety of clients during her time at FRA. She says, “My favorite project thus far had to have been collaborating with the entire team during our last all-hands creative retreat. The synergy was energizing, and we were able to develop some incredible tactics and storylines for several clients in a short amount of time.”

When you’re feeling as though you’ve hit the dreaded wall, take some of Erin’s advice: “Ask more questions from your clients. Find out the makeup of what sets them apart. Not just as a company, but as a group of people who are embodying one mission. Once you dig in this way, you’ll have endless content to share.”

On why she loves working with the FRA Team, she said, “Shantelle has this magnetism that draws you in and makes you want to work harder. She expects a strong work ethic, transparency, and your best effort, and she makes time to engage with you on your projects.”

We love having you on the team, Erin!
